Hawthorn - Edinburgh was founded in 1969 as the Edinburgh School of English, becoming Scotland's first independent EFL school. -----該分校成立於1969年。同時也是蘇格蘭當地第一所獨立的EFL學校。

Hawthorn - Edinburgh offers a variety of courses for adults throughout the year and an Easter and summer programme for young learners.-----愛丁堡分校提供各式各樣的成人課程另外也提供給青少年暑期的夏令營課程。

The school is located in the Canongate, part of the Royal Mile - the most historic street in Scotland. There are two teaching centres (Cranston House and the India Buildings) which are both historic buildings.
