親愛的Michelle與Jennifer,

我是張豪，展信平安。

告訴你們一個好消息，我得到了一個在瑞士四星級酒店實習的工作機會。之前為了準備面試我非常緊張，因為我知道這是一個多麼難得的機會能夠在這麼棒的酒店又有 這麼優渥的待遇。所以當我得知我真的得到了這個實習工作我實在是太興奮跟感激了，所以我迫不及待要把這份喜悅分享給你們。

I was very nervous about the interview since I knew how precoius the opportunity was to obtain this internship chance in a such great hotel with excellent pay package. I can feel the excitement and joyfulness from his tone and that really made me very blessed. Because I do see his differences and growth after he went to Switzerland. 我到HTMi就讀已經兩個多月了，非常感謝你們給我這個機會到瑞士這個美麗的國家，並且在 最富盛名的HTMi這所學校學習。

我的英文不好所以當初聽到全英文授課其實有點卻步，一開始真的是很困難，但短 短的兩個月，現在我已經能聽懂老師授課的內容，我想這對我來說已經是在語文上的一大進步，所以學習英文的環 境真的是很重要，我會好好珍惜並努力學習。

我現在就讀的活動會展管理也是HTMi非常著名的科系，學校的生活非常忙碌及充實，除了上課知識的傳授，更多的是將 我們所學的理論進行實務操作。我們系要負責學校所有的活動，從策劃、組織到訓練，所以每周會固定與我們的指 導老師Mr. Lack開會，老師會指導我們如何辦活動。在承辦活動的過程需要與來自各國的學生開會 溝通，這對我來說是很大的挑戰，但同時也讓我能接觸不同的文化，加強自己的溝通及表達能力，並學習團隊合作 的重要性。

在這裡我學到了很多飯店業的相關知識，並且透過學校餐廳跟廚房的實際操練接受 最專業的訓練，我很高興自己當初做了這個決定，也要謝謝林肯及HTMi給我這個機會讓我能看到不一樣的自己，我相信未來還有更多的挑戰，我會珍惜每 個學習的機會，全力完成每個任務並努力充實自我。

Dear Michelle and Jennifer:
I have been studying at HTMi for more than two months. Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to be here, Switzerland, the most beautiful country in the world and to study at HTMi, the most famous hotel management institute in the world.

I was hesitant when I heard that we will be taught in English since my English is not good enough. I have to admit that it was very difficult in the beginning, but right now, I have been able to understand the content which the teach taught us. I think that it’s a big step forward to my English learning. Therefore the environment is really essential to learn English well. I will cherish this opportunity to improve my language.

I majored in Event Management which is also the most famous department at HTMi. School life is very busy and full. Apart from the knowledge we learn from classes, we have to put those theories into practice. We have many school activities at HTMi and our department is responsible for all of the events, from planning, organization to training. Thus we have weekly meetings with our instructor Mr. Lack, who taight us how to organize an event. Through the process of planning an event, we have to communicate with other students from different countries, which is a big challenge for me. But it also gives me the opportunity to learn different culture, to strengthen my communication and interpersonal skill, and to learn the importance of team work.

I’ve learned a lot about hospitality industry at HTMi and received professional training through practical exercises in school cafeteria and kitchen. I am very happy that I made the decision to study at HTMi. I am extremely grateful to Lincoln and HTMi for offering me this opportunity to see the difference of myself and for all the support you provided. I believe that there are many more challenges in the future, and I’ll cherish every chance of learning. I’ll do my best to accomplish every task and enrich my life here.
