Formerly called HCIMA, the Institute of Hospitality is the professional body for managers in more than 100 countries-and aspiring managers-working in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industries. The Institute’s primary purpose is to promote the highest professional standards of management and education in the international hospitality, leisure and tourism industries. Institute of Hospitality Accreditation confers on an organization the international recognition of a quality standard in respect of programmes that are relevant to the needs of the hospitality, leisure and tourism industries and which meet accepted Institute of Hospitality benchmark standards.
